John Conti
John Conti, 76, passed away on February 24, 2024 at home in Fort Pierce, Florida with his family by his side.
Mr. Conti was born on July 7, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to John “Chick” Conti and Virginia Conti.
Prior to retirement, he was an ironworker and was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He loved playing golf and played as much as he could. He was an animal lover. Babies and children had a special place in his heart.
John was a member of the AA for 37 years. He helped so many people over the years, you could always count on him. He had many friends and will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Conti of Fort Pierce, FL; 4 sons, John Conti of Long Island, NY, Larry Conti of Long Island, NY, Stephen (Angela) Conti of Long Island, NY and Christopher (Olga) Conti of AZ; daughter, Nikki (Jose Alvarez) Conti of Fort Pierce, FL; 7 granddaughters, Josephine Conti, Carrissa Conti, Mikalya Conti, Jenna Conti, Annessa Conti, Cecilia Conti, Melody Alvarez; 2 grandsons, Christopher Conti and Tristin Conti.
Memorial contributions may be made to A.S.P.C., St. Lucie Humane Society, St. Jude’s’s Children Research Hospital, or to Treasure Coast Hospice.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM with a service to follow at 4:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
