John Tipton Cottrell
January, 14, 1959-November 4, 2022
Jack grew up in Winter Haven and attended area schools. He played baseball all of his growing up years and was catcher for the High School Baseball Team.
After Graduation, he served in the Navy for three years and three more years in the Reserves.
Jack was married in 1981 to Tara Bartholomew and they have a daughter, Alexandra and a granddaughter, Anabelle.
Jack built his own business, Vessel Works, in Boynton Beach and worked until he became disabled.
He is preceded in death by his father,William W. Cottrell, sister,Diane Cottrell and brother, Michael Cottrell.
He is survived by daughter, Alexandra Young(Chris),granddaughter Anabelle, mother Joan Barham and sister Lynn Cottrell Cohen(Lou).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held November 11 at 11a.m. At Grace Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.

Tara, I'm deeply sorry for the passing of your husband! Though I didn't know him personally, I will never forget your understanding and kind family and the precious and unforgettable times I spent with your family, who all (especially Tessa) helped me in many ways. My own dear husband passed in 2017...May life bless you and yours in the future.
