He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother and friend. For many years John owned and managed 'Quality Guns,' where friends gathered and good deals were to be made. He loved fishing, and participated in many tournaments while always looking for "that next big fish."
A weapons expert, John finished his working career as a corrections officer serving the state of Indiana. He is survived by his wife Lea Anne, a niece and her family, as well as many long-time friends.
We smile to think of John in his bass boat, heading out to catch that next big fish...
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana, 46013, with Fr. Christian DeCarlo officiating.
At the family's request please do not send any flowers. Instead, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
