John Crowley Obituary

John was a self proclaimed computer geek and respected as such and worked as an IT Specialist for many years. He enjoyed science fiction, playing golf and he especially loved being with friends and family.
He was the beloved brother of Ellen Therese (Leroy) Ryckman, Christine Roman, Paul D. (Leslee) Crowley, the late Rosalind (Albert) Mangrum and the late Elizabeth (James) Wojciuch. John was the dear uncle of Steven, Kathleen, Mary, Anne, Theresa, Andrea, Ellen Rita, Diana, Adrienne, Scott and many great nieces, nephews.
Visitation is Sunday, May 4th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with a 6:30 pm sharing of memories at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak.
In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Oakland Community College Foundation, 2900 Featherstone Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326 https://www.oaklandcc.edu/foundation/

Very sorry to find out that my good friend, coworker and fellow golfer passed away. I spoke with John a couple of months ago via LinkedIn and didn't get the sense that anything was wrong.
John was a great guy to work with. Devoted to solving problems, even the most challenging. We worked together at both Compuware and DMI for nearly 30+ years. We had played in a few golf outings over our past as well. Our prayers are with John's family.
