John J. "Jack" Cucchi, 89 formerly of Chester died on August 26, 2025 at Little Flower Manor.

Jack was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1953 and was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was employed as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 34 years before retiring in 1990. Jack coached softball for the over 30 leagues in Chester, and also coached youth football for the former Resurrection Church CYO. Jack was a fanatical St. Louis Cardinal's fan and a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan. He knew and could share statistics about his favorite teams and was also an avid horse racing fan. But most important was his loving family and many friends.

Jack's family would like to share a special thank you to the staff at Little Flower Manor for their kindness and care for their dad.
He was the loving husband of the late Judith E. Branholm Cucchi and Janice DeNight Cucchi, devoted father of Annmarie Nicholas (John), Christopher J. Cucchi (Michelle) and the late Nicholas W. Day-Cucchi and Karen A. Cucchi, cherished "Pop Pop Jack" of Robert N. Stainton, Brandon C. Cucchi (Shannon), Madeline J. Cucchi and Grace P. Cucchi he is also survived by his great-grans Layla and Nicholas, brother of Gerald Cucchi and the late Joseph Cucchi and Andrea Cucchi and also survived by a special friend Joyce DiCave, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA 19070 where relatives and friends may call 10 to 10:45 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
