Robert Wayne Cucchi

Robert Wayne Cucchi passed over April 30 th at age 58 at the family home
in Lakeland, Fl, of heart failure.
He was born in Newton, Massachusetts on August 31, 1966, to Lawrence
Robert Cucchi and Bonnie Jean Cucchi.
His childhood was spent in Marathon in the Florida Keys where his
mothers family had resided since 1947, with his parents and his brother
Raymond and sister Lauri.
Robert loved the Keys and spent an exuberant childhood exploring the
waters and the outdoors. As an adult he stayed in the Keys and built a
business growing palms and native trees and doing landscape design and
installation. He built a beautiful nursery on Cudjoe Key in his later years
which is still there to this day. It was his greatest joy.
He is survived by his son Ethan Maximillian Cucchi, granddaughter Bella
Marie Nelson, mother Bonnie Jean Cucchi, brother Raymond Alan Cucchi,
sister Lauri Lynette Cucchi-Hill (Tim Robert Hill), and numerous half
brothers and sisters.
He was predeceased by his daughter Shana Marie Cucchi-Nelson, his
father Lawrence Robert Cucchi, and his biological father Royce Eugene
Dolan.

His ashes will be placed in the family plot at Southern Keys Cemetery.
