John W. Culp, 51, was promoted to Glory on December 29, 2024.
John W. Culp was born on February 25, 1973, to Thomas and Margaret Culp in Cincinnati, OH.
Married on June 27, 1998, in Phoenix, AZ. John is survived by his wife of 26 years, Laureen Culp, son, John Alexander, daughter, Jocelyn Anne, Gail Culp (mother), Thomas Culp (brother) and Barbara Johnson (sister).
After graduating from Deer Valley High School in 1992, John went on to DeVry Institute of Technology where he won Most Technical Merit for his final year project and graduated in 2001. He began his career with Lockheed Martin in 2002 and traveled extensively to such places as Colombia and Korea.
In 2016, John relocated his family to Central Florida. He loved fishing, target shooting, and playing video games, especially with his children. He was always willing to help people any way he could.
He loved new experiences and thrived most when faced with challenges where he had to think outside the box. He had a special sense of humor that was often juvenile and a laugh that would cause you to laugh in spite of yourself.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for John at Aloma Church on 1815 FL-436, Winter Park 32792 on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:30am. Doors will open at 10:00am for family visitation.
