John Curitti Obituary
John was born March 2, 1948, in Glendale, West Virginia, the son of Lenee J. Curitti and Dolores J. Curitti (Kelley).
John graduated from Union High School in Benwood, West Virginia. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he worked on the railroad.
John married JoAnne (Alvarez) on May 25, 1968, at St. Francis Xavier in Moundsville, West Virginia. John and JoAnne were married for 55 years.
John is survived by his wife JoAnne; five children, Lisa (Joseph) Quatman of Lima, Ohio, Nick (Dawn) Curitti of Canton, Ohio, Holly (Christopher) Welsh of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Matthew (Carmela) Curitti of Fernley, Nevada, Bonnie (John) Ratti of Fort Wayne, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, two siblings Lenee (Sherri) Curitti and Anna (Bob) Tschappat, and many nieces and nephews.
John was a force of nature, deeply generous, with a contagious personality and sense of humor loved by all. He will be sorely missed.
Private services will be held at Grisell Funeral Home in Moundsville, West Virginia.
