John J. Curylo Jr.

Ware - John J. Curylo, Jr., 59, of Ware, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Baystate Wing Hospital.
He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Tiffany L. Girard and her husband Adam of Wales; his loving father, John J. Curylo and his fiance Karin of Ware; his brothers, Paul and Steven Curylo, and their wives Karen and Tina, both of Ware; his sister, Angela Foster and her husband Roy of Three Rivers; his beloved grandchildren, Natalie, Emma, and Leo; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Nancy F. (DeForge) Curylo; and by his sister, Jennifer Thompson.
John worked at FlexCon for 35 years. He started his work with them as a packer, until he was able to become a rewind machine operator.
John was a loving and devoted father and grandfather, a kind and caring brother and son, and a friend to many. He enjoyed spending time in nature, and had a creative eye for photography. He also enjoyed playing disc golf – he quickly became a big fan and really enjoyed playing the sport with family and friends. He was able to experience a trip to Scotland with his daughter 25 years ago, through FlexCon, and he always wanted to return. He also loved going on scenic motorcycle rides and finding new disc golf courses to play.
Calling hours for John will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2 - 4pm in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant Street in Ware. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
