John Joseph Delaney, 73, passed away surrounded by his family on December 7, 2025. Better known as Jack, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie "Dee" Delaney, and his daughters: Bridey LaCouture, Eliza Falzone, Dillon Falk, and Molly Delaney. He was the proud papa to Reese and Luke LaCouture, Parker and Cooper Falzone, and James and Abby Falk.

Born on April 14, 1952 in Milton, Massachusetts, Jack was the son of the late Leo and Enid Delaney. Jack was one of four children and is predeceased by his three siblings: Ellen Spengler, David Delaney, and Robert "Bobby" Delaney. Growing up, he loved learning to sail on the Charles River.

He moved to the Cape in 1970, where he fell in love with his wife and settled in Barnstable. Jack was the president of J.J. Delaney, Inc, specializing in home construction and remodeling. When he wasn't busy building beautiful homes for others, Jack loved spending time at home with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf, going for walks with his wife and dog, Gus, and attending local sporting events.

Jack will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and love for his family. If you were lucky enough to know Jack, you know how much he loved and supported his family, friends, and community. He was the best husband, dad, and papa. He was endlessly devoted to providing for everyone close to him and generously donated to a variety of causes. A celebration of life will be held privately. If you feel moved to be generous like Jack, please consider a donation in his memory to the Family Pantry of Cape Cod or MSPCA Cape Cod Adoption Center.
