John Randolph deLeusomme, 62, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 25, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Born February 21, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late Charles Henri deLeusomme and Laverne Margaret Hach deLeusomme. He was a devoted individual whose life reflected a deep appreciation for family, music, and history.
John was a proud graduate of Batesville High School in Batesville, Arkansas, where he graduated in the class of 1981. He was currently employed as a forklift operator for Carlex, where he applied his skills with diligence and dedication.
Throughout his life, John showcased a distinctive personality marked by a wry sense of humor that resonated with those around him. He held a deep affection for his hobbies and interests, proudly participating as a member of both the Sons of the American Revolution and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. His passion for music was evident, especially in his love for southern rock and blues, and he excelled as a drummer.
In addition to music, John was an animal lover, reflecting his compassionate nature. He enjoyed the thrill of NASCAR races, the excitement of hockey, and the graceful art of ice skating. A self-proclaimed "Ford Man," John had a passion for cars and the rush of driving fast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Henri deLeusomme & Laverne Margaret Hach deLeusomme, and his beloved dog Luna.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Charles Henri (Dawn Marie) deLeusomme III and Patrick R. (Melissa) deLeusomme, and his sister, Gabrielle deLeusomme Ahlgren. They, alongside several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and acquaintances, will remember John for his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 5pm at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Gallatin. The family will welcome friends and visitors two hours prior to the service.
John Randolph deLeusomme's legacy is one of passion, devotion to family, and a zest for life that will not be forgotten. His untimely departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
