Edward Lawrence “Eddie” Sexton, age 58, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away on February 18, 2026. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Hill, and his sister, Tammy Sullivan.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his father, Julian Hill; his children, Amber Sexton (John Osborn), Steven Sexton (Macy), and Trina Stradtner (Justin); his stepchildren, Nick Deck (Felicia), Zack Deck; his grandchildren, Tristan Osborn, Owen Sexton, Mia Osborn, Tayte Sexton, Annaleigh Sexton, Warren Stradtner, Ainsley Stradtner, and Evelyn Stradtner; his step-grandchildren, Zoey, Jax, John, and Jace; his sister, Debra Hill(Danny); along with nieces and nephews. Eddie loved and cherished his family above all else, including his faithful dog, Gabby Girl. He found joy in fishing, camping, video games, riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, and spending time on the water — usually in a pair of flip-flops. He will be remembered for the laughter he shared, the stories he told, and the time he devoted to those he loved. His memory will live on in the many moments and memories he created with his family and friends.
