John Dipinto

MR. JOHN LEONARD DIPINTO, age 59, of Cochran, GA, died Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, November 4, 2024, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Emory Howell officiating, with interment in Bay Springs Cemetery in Plainfield, GA.
John was born in Baltimore, MD on March 19, 1965. He attended school in Baltimore, was of the Christian Faith, and worked in a warehouse around Baltimore. He was blessed with two wonderful daughters, while in Maryland before moving to Cochran, GA in 1998. He worked in the family construction business, King Drywall, as a sheet rock finisher for over 25 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who was affectionately known as "Pa Pa" to his granddaughter, Cheyanne, who was his heart, and he loved dearly. John enjoyed fishing, scratching lottery tickets, eating at the Huddle House, and watching wrestling. He was a dedicated worker and enjoyed staying busy. He was the son of the late Dorothy Anne Poole and Antonio Leonard Dipinto and was preceded in death by his Sister, Sandra Dipinto and Brother, Antonio Dipinto.
He is survived by his Daughters – Sarah Dipinto (Jeremy Williams) of Eastman, GA and Kealoha Johnson of Baltimore, MD; Granddaughter – Cheyanne Williams of Eastman, GA; Sisters – Natalie Lim of the Philippines and Deborah Dipinto (Neil) of Middle River, MD; Brother – Samuel Dipinto of Knoxville, TN; Brother-in-law – Ben Robinson of Odenton, MD; Special Cousin – Chuck King (Becky) of Cochran, GA; Several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Chuck and Becky King, 43 Church Street, Cochran, GA 31014, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Monday before services.
