John W. Dolan

John W. Dolan of Pearl River NY, age 88, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was born and raised in Bronx, NY.

John was a beloved husband of Margaret who was his childhood sweetheart . They were married for 67 years. He was a devoted father to six children: John Dolan, Steve (Alison) Dolan, Cathy Dolan, Mary (Don) Confrey, Ann (Bill) Dillane, and Eileen (Bill) Ackermann. He is also survived by his cherished brother, John Joe .

A loving son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, John will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He found his greatest joy being surrounded by his family. He took immense pride in his 18 grandchildren, often bragging about their athletic and academic accomplishments.

John was a proud United States Navy veteran and following his service worked as a manager for Con Edison for many years until his retirement. He was a life long Yankees fan . In his early years he enjoyed fishing , hand ball , and traveling with Margaret .

He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence Dolan and Mazie Dolan, his brothers Lawrence Dolan , Michael Dolan and his sister Eileen Duane .
