On May 9, 2025, Jack passed away at Virtua Rehabilitation Center in Berlin. Born in Philadelphia, Jack grew up in the Green Ridge section of Voorhees. He graduated from Camden Catholic High School and went on to receive his associate's degree from Camden County College. After receiving his degree, he apprenticed for Asbestos Workers Local 14 (IAHFIAW Local 14) out of Philadelphia where he worked for over 30 years until his retirement. Jack was an avid baseball player, playing in high school and in the Garden State League. His love for baseball was only outweighed by his love of horses and horse racing. He traveled to many racetracks including Churchill Downs, the Preakness and the Belmont as well as his annual pilgrimage to Saratoga.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, John F. Driver, Sr. and Julia Driver (nee Kelly) as well as his brother, Daniel Driver. He is lovingly survived by his siblings, Ann Marie Carey (late Patrick), Patrick M. Driver (Hope), Joseph M. Driver (Leslie) and Joann Adams (Brian). He was a proud uncle to Brian and Michael Carey, Brandon and Aiden Adams, and Emily Driver.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, May 16th from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM at the Healey Funeral Home, 1816 Berlin Road (Route 561), Cherry Hill where his Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM. Interment private.

Brian Burns

May 13, 2025

Jack was a prominent member of the Green Ridge gang. The Burns family and Driver families were often together sharing the joy and fun of teenage life. Jack was older than me and often hung out with my brother Pat who was Jacks age. I recall hot summer nights listening to music, swimming in the Driver“s pool and trying to catch the big bass that lived in Hidden Lake. Jack loved the horse races and would travel to different race tracks hoping to hit it big. Jack enjoyed life on his terms and will be missed by friends and family, sending prayers and condolences to his family.
