John Randall "Randy" Dutton, age 67, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025 at his residence.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. with service at 5:00 p.m. at Glory Fellowship Baptist Church.

Mr. Dutton was preceded in death by Mother-LaVerne King Dutton; Step-father-Kenneth Dutton; Grandparents-John Coleman King and Oneida Hicks King.

He is survived by his Wife-Teresa Dutton; Son-John Ross Dutton (Haley); Grandchildren-Anna Dutton and Davis Dutton; Sister-Kim Dutton Smith; Nieces-Courtney Davis Walker and Meagan Smith; Brother-in-law-Paul Davis (Denise); Aunt-Sharlene Medlock (James); Uncle-Jimmy King (Nicole).

John served as Jasper Fire Chief, leading the department and protecting his community through years of dedicated work. He was a Sergeant in the Army National Guard, where he served with discipline and commitment. Randy enjoyed flying as a pilot and exploring underwater as a scuba diver. He also loved outdoor activities such as kayaking, camping, and rappelling.

Above all, Randy's heart was anchored in his profound love for his family, whom he cherished with tenderness and unwavering support. His legacy endures as an inspiration to us all: to live boldly, serve humbly, and love deeply, reminding us that a life well-lived is one that touches the world with purpose and grace.
