Alan Lee Dutton, 76, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, in St. Joseph, Michigan.
Alan was born on December 13, 1948 in Niles, Michigan to the late Herman Dutton and Lillian (Mark) Dutton.
Along with his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Stevens and Mark Dutton.
Left to cherish the memory of Alan is his loving wife of 57 years, Sharon (Jablonsky) Dutton; sons, Brandon (Kimberly) Dutton and Brett Dutton; grandchildren, Colton (Leah) Dutton, Harley (Abbi Scott) Dutton, and Mikayla Dutton, and great grandchildren, Elliana, Emory, and Charles who is on the way.
Alan was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the beauty of the outdoors and the thrill of trying new foods. A true people person, he cherished the connections he made throughout his life, often sharing laughter and warmth with those around him. Despite his quiet demeanor, Alan had a remarkable ability to bring people together, making everyone feel valued and appreciated.
Alan was a beloved husband, a cherished friend, and a gentle soul who touched the lives of many.
In keeping with Alan's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
