John Eaker Obituary
Mr. Eaker was born March 23, 1951, in Highland Park, Illinois. He retired as a Foreman for Hines Lumber Company in Evanston, IL. He was also a former hockey player and was an avid hockey fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late John P. Eaker, Jr. and Delzia Mae "Daisy" Mulder Eaker of Pine Mountain, GA.
He is survived by his son, John P. Eaker, IV, of Deerfield, IL; a brother, Leonard "Woody" Eaker of Chicago, Il; a niece, Alex; and a sister-in-law, Jill.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cox Funeral Home, Hamilton, GA, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sorry to read of John's passing.... while I'd not seen him since our HS days (and I wasn't at any of the reunions) - I remember the great smile and ginger hair color of a genuinely nice guy.... My sympathy to you all.

Sorry for your loss. I played hockey with John in H.S. He was a terrific player. He had grit and speed and always looked out for his teammates.
