John Edward Elder

John Edward Elder, age 63, of Pittsburgh passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026. Beloved husband of 45 years to Rosanna (Pietrzak) Elder. Loving father of Chrissy Elder, Jennifer Gostic, and Steph Elder; cherished grandfather of Ashanti and Ava Scott, Collin Cramp, Wyatt and E.J. Gostic; great-grandfather of Amontay, Sean, and Princeston; brother of Billy Elder and Shirley Fincun. John was preceded in death by his parents Richard Paul and Mary Elizabeth (Cassidy) Elder, his brother Richard Elder, and sisters Louise Rush and Suzy Elder. John enjoyed swimming, playing pool, and motorcycles. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends received Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 1PM until time of the Funeral Service at 4PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton.
