John Carl Enna, a dedicated accountant, and a loving family man, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 17, 2023. He was born on March 23, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri. John will be remembered for his passion for numbers, his love for sports, and his unwavering commitment to his family.

John's career was marked by his dedication and expertise in accounting. For the past 15 years, he worked as an accountant for Ruskin Manufacturing Company. His meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Aside from his professional accomplishments, John had many interests that brought him joy. He had a genuine love for golf and enjoyed spending time on the course with friends. Additionally, he was an avid football fan who would eagerly cheer on his favorite teams during games. His enthusiasm for sports was contagious, and it created cherished memories with those who shared in his passion.

John's educational journey began at Rockhurst in Kansas City, MO where he pursued higher education. In 1964, he proudly graduated from Rockhurst before later receiving a bachelor's degree from Ottawa University. His commitment to learning throughout his life exemplified his thirst for knowledge and personal growth.

John's sense of duty led him to proudly serve in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. His bravery and dedication to protecting his country will always be honored and remembered.

In addition to his professional achievements and military service, John cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of many years, Diana Enna of the home. Their love stood as a testament to unwavering companionship and support. Together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

He is also survived by; their son John Andrew Enna and his wife Tammy of Liberty, MO; their daughter Julie Enna and her husband Jeffrey Gardner of Kansas City, MO. John valued his role as a father, always providing love, guidance, and support to his children. His presence in their lives created a foundation of strength that will endure for generations to come.

His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his four grandchildren: Andre Enna, Lolah Enna, Zayne Gardner, and Sydney Gardner. John's love for them knew no bounds, and he delighted in spending time with each of them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

John was also a beloved brother. He is survived by two sisters: Nina Strathmann and Stephanie Smith along with her husband Dale, all of Leawood, KS. Their sibling bond was one of deep affection and mutual support throughout their lives.

He was predeceased by his parents Faye and Veto Enna, his brothers Frank and Sam Enna and his beloved granddaughter Samantha Nicole Enna.

A celebration of John’s life will be held after the holidays. As we bid farewell to John Carl Enna, we remember him as a dedicated professional, a passionate sports enthusiast, and most importantly, a devoted family man. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the love he shared. May he rest in eternal peace.
