John A. Evans

John A. Evans, 74, of Lockport, entered into rest on September 13, 2025. Beloved husband of 31 years to Gail (nee Nowak) O'Brien Evans; devoted father of Keith (Katrina) Evans, Jerry O'Brien (Carrie Grundner) and Jason (Tina) O'Brien; cherished grandfather of Noah Evans, Marley Evans, Tyler Gomez, Gerald O'Brien III, Jessica O'Brien, Jason O'Brien Jr., Jake O'Brien and Samantha Lasker; adored great-grandfather of Penelope, Nora and Phoenix; loving son of the late John H. and Helen (nee Tetter) Evans; dear brother of Barbara (Richard) Evans and the late Ann Kieffer and Kathryn Karwaki; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

John honorably served in the US Army during the VietNam War.

John was a jack of all trades. He drove a semi truck and school bus. He also owned his own computer sales business and worked for National Grinding Wheel for many years.

John was an avid RC airplane pilot and HAM radio operator. He was also a member of the Hartland Conservation Club. John was a keyboardist and produced a CD of his own music. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was deeply loved by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Thursday, September 18 from 4-6pm.
