Bubba, as many knew him, passed away Monday night, May 6 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bubba was born March 7, 1962 to the late John Travis Everidge and late Barbara Ann Herring in Florala, AL. He grew up in Florida, going to the springs, frog giggin' and having a good time. He moved to NC in 1987 with his wife Jeannine and made a home in Prospect Hill where he raised twin daughters, Maghan and Melissa.
Bubba worked various jobs through the years, such as construction and landscaping with the last job as High Voltage electrician at Duke University, where he worked for 20+plus years. He was a man of many hobbies, including fishing with his brother, and enjoyed a good, relaxing summer day where he could piddle in his shed and then spend time by the pool with Jeannine.
Bubba was dearly loved and supported by his wife of nearly 38 years, Jeannine.
He was adored by his children, twin daughters Maghan Eversmith(Caleb) and Melissa Osborne(Zack). He was delighted by his grandchildren, Jude(Eversmith), David(Eversmith), Ruth(Eversmith) and Max(Osborne). He was best friend and younger brother to Roger Dale. Older brother to Sonya Jenkins. And had many hunting adventures and stories with his cousin Alan. He was a beloved friend, nephew, cousin, and uncle to many.
Many have described him as a good man, who fiercely loved his wife, loved his family, and was a friend to everyone. Bubba was a hard working man and loved his job. He loved telling a good story and throwing in some embellishments. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and lead his family into the faith many years ago.
He will be truly missed by many and is now at rest in the arms of Jesus.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 11th at Clements Funeral Home in Hillsborough. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 in the Clements Chapel.
