John was born in Oswego, NY to James H. and Diane J. (Hunter) Fantom on July 26, 1960.
John was an avid basketball player and also played football during his school years. John was a hard worker and won many awards including several Manager of the Year awards during his years at Rent-A-Vision.
John is survived by his children Christopher, Lindsay, and Timothy Fantom, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his son, Avery J. Fantom, his parents, his brothers, James, David, and Billy, and sisters, Diane Fitzgerald and Cathy Mills.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of his children.
