John E. Fawcett

Dr. John E. Fawcett, age 74 of Aston, PA, passed away on June 28, 2022 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, PA. Born and raised in McKeesport, PA to John H. and Ruth Pickell Fawcett, John was a resident of Delaware County, PA for the last 30 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, then a Doctorate from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1973. John went on to work in private practice as a podiatrist until his death. John was passionate about his work and was a past President of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. In his free-time, John enjoyed boating, listening to music, playing his guitar and being at Kerr Lake, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC, especially with his family. John also loved sports and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Devoted to his faith, John was a member of Chichester Baptist Church. John was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his brother, Bruce Fawcett, also a podiatrist thanks to his brother, and sister-in-law Rane Winslow, nephews, John, Gabriel, and Curtis Fawcett, and their wives, great-niece, Mary Millikin Fawcett, and his aunt, Phyllis Fletcher, as well as many cousins, colleagues, and friends including Tom Perry, Dr. Joseph Porto, and Cindy Walker.
