John B. Fiduccia, age 88 of Naperville, IL., passed away July 29, 2025.

John was raised in Chicago in an apartment building on the Northwest side (Belmont-Cragin area). Attended Lloyd Elementary School and Foreman High School. Work experiences included his father's grocery store, R.T. Sullivan Construction Company, De Kalb Foundry, and the De Kalb University frozen food delivery service to dormitories. Recreational time mainly devoted to sports as a player and viewer, diverse restaurants, movies, theater, cards, traveling, playing pop music and dancing with his wonderful wife Birgit.

John attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, Navy Pier, Northern Illinois University earning a B.A. and a M.A. in Rhetoric and Public Address, Nova Southeastern University earning a Doctorate (ED. D) In College and University Administration with a curricula emphasis; assisted in the development of the curriculum at the new Truman Community College in Uptown Chicago.

His work experiences included Professor, City Colleges of Chicago (35 years); Real Estate – residential and commercial investments, property management; Small Business with his wife Birgit (Fantastic Sam's Hair; Instruction on Channel 11, Educational TV, and the Illinois Manufacturing Association. Inventor/author of U-DECIDE card game, available for play at Tabor Hills. Copyright issued by the U.S. Library of Congress. John was in the U.S. ARMY National Guard and U.S. ARMY active military service.

He is survived by his wife Birgit, Son Steve, brother Joseph and sister-in-law Pat, sister Cynthia and brother-in-law Bob, both deceased. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at Assumption Cemetery 1 S 510 Winfield Rd. Wheaton, IL 60189
