John Oliver Fohrman, 58, of Laona, WI passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, with his family by his side.
John was born March 6, 1966, in Kenosha, WI to loving parents Jack and Judy Fohrman.
On June 21, 2014, John married Kathy Ambrosius. John and Kathy began as grade school friends, and after years apart, they reunited to discover a deep and lasting love that transformed their friendship into a beautiful partnership.
John was a loving husband, a devoted father and an adoring grandfather. His family meant everything to him.
John also loved the great outdoors, especially all that the Northwoods had to offer- snowmobiling, camping, hunting, fishing and riding his side by side and motorcycle.
John is survived by his wife, Kathy Fohrman; mother, Judy Fohrman; brother, Todd (Wendy) Fohrman; sister, Tracy Butts; daughters, Meghan (Steven) Pollock, Kirsten (Jacob) Veach, and Callie (Josh) Adelmeyer; and stepsons, Andrew (Jody Hermus) Bull, Matthew (Kendall) Bull, and Geoffrey (Kadie) Bull. John is further survived by his 13 beautiful grandchildren, Olivia (7), Emilia (5), Owen (2), Theodore (5), Everett (2), Evelyn (2), Elodie (6), Abraham (4), Etta (2), Jack (3), Ellery (0), Madelyn (8), and Wesley (5); as well as many other loving family members and friends.
John was preceded in death by his father, John "Jack" Fohrman; grandparents, Herman and Eleanor Fohrman and Doris and Oliver Bauman; as well as other aunts, uncles and loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Laona, WI on January 9, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the church, Rev. Jamie Bauknecht will preside. Interment will be at the Town of Laona Cemetery.
