John Anthony Forcucci

John Anthony Forcucci, 90, of Roslindale, formerly of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Sandra (Edmonds) Forcucci. Devoted father of John Forcucci, Jr. and his wife Nancy Anderson of Northborough and the late Deanna Forcucci. Loving son of the late Antonio and Annina (Spadorcia) Forcucci. Dear brother of Albert Forcucci and his late wife Joan of Roslindale, Elena McIlvenna and her husband David of Foxborough. Longtime companion of Margaret Butler of Somerville.

After serving in the military, he graduated from Wentworth Institute and later, Boston University, with degrees in engineering. He worked as a purchasing manager at BBN Technologies for 45 years, where he was known for keeping high level technical projects on schedule.

In 1965, John married Sandra (Edmonds), and together they made their home in Roslindale and raised John Jr and Deanna.

He loved the poetry of Robert Frost, gardening, music, teaching his nieces and nephews chemistry and Latin, and especially enjoyed volunteering at the Bread of Life.

Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, October 28th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
