John Fowler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by South Carolina Cremation Society - West Columbia on Feb. 12, 2025.
John Robert Fowler, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2025. A memorial service will be held at the old Bible Baptist Church known now as Berean Christian Academy at 3060 Moody Ave, Orange Park, FL 32065 on February 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
John was born on September 9, 1971 in Warren, Michigan. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Jackie Fowler, siblings, Judi, Paul, Tim and Suzie, brother-in-law, Paul (Judi), sister-in-law, Susan (Tim), nephews & nieces, Rett and his wife, Getsi, Jo, Sammi, Nina, David & Brittany Reams, great nieces and nephew, aunts, uncle, cousins, longtime special friend, Sarah and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
John lived the last 30 years in Columbia, South Carolina and was an accomplished salesman. He grew up in Orange Park, Florida and was an incredible athlete. He was also in the NJROTC where he earned enough medals to make a general blush. John loved soccer, surfing, football and went on to have many awards, records and recognitions in wrestling at Orange Park High School. He was a strong competitor and to quote a friend was "a beast on the mat". He was a loyal friend with a big heart, huge personality and the most contagious laugh.
While his family and friends mourn his passing, we do take comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven and we will see him again. He made an impact on so many and that will continue to be felt through the stories we share, the love he left with us and memories of that loud laugh and big smile.

I just learned of John´s passing today when I went by Dan Rich Furniture store. Joy and I became friends years ago when I went by and bought furniture from him. He came and visited my SS Class one week and I will always remember that. My deepest condolences go out to you all.
May God bless you and keep your family in his loving care.
