John P Frost

John P. Frost, 79, a resident of Kempton Place, formerly of Shushan, NY, passed away October 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. John was born in Bennington on July 31, 1945 the son of the late Irving and Anna (Stroffoleno) Frost. He attended Arlington, VT schools, graduating from Arlington Memorial High School. John was the produce manager for Grand Union then Shaw's retiring after 45 years. John loved to cook, enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time in Florida and cherished times spent with his family. John also raised and showed Morgan Horses. He also enjoyed listening to hymns on his I-pad. John is survived by his wife Kathleen (Daley) Frost of Saratoga Springs whom he married on September 24, 1999 in East Arlington, children Anna Bushee (Brian), Anita Gregory (Paul), Audra Hunt (Jason), Jonathan Frost (Bettina), Adina Moffitt (Wes), Christopher Mars (Billie Jean), Tracy Wilson, Jennifer Mars (Phil) and blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also survived by his sister-in-law Sandra Frost, sister Donna Stoothoff (Pete) and brother David Frost (Jill). He was preceded in death by brothers Doyle, Donald and Irving and sister-in-law Norma Frost. Funeral services for John will be held Wednesday October 23, 2024 at 3pm at the Federated Church of East Arlington. Interment will follow in the family lot in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 4-6pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A Arlington, VT.
