On May 17, 2025, John M. Gallo passed away at age 27. John was born to John Gallo and Tina (Merihew) Gallo on September 4, 1997. His family joyfully awaited his arrival, as the first nephew and grandchild for many family members. He was a beautiful baby with bright blue eyes, and everyone was so excited about his birth.
John had a childhood filled with love and adventure. He grew up traveling and living in Kansas, Georgia, Missouri, and even Germany. John was both hardworking and talented. He took pride in his work and was a natural born leader. His family was proud that he became a manager at Culvers at a young age, and he continued his hard work at each job he held thereafter. John loved 3-D printing and especially liked creating items for his loved ones. He loved to cook for his fiancé, and had a passion for the outdoors, riding his bike or his seadoo, and his life at the lake. He also enjoyed cars, computers, mechanics and electronics. He was a student at Arizona State University and was always working on improving himself. John loved his family and was always there for them, taking care of those around him was always his priority. John was gentle towards others, understanding, and bright.
John especially loved his fiancé Kenzie, and her parents Denise and Doug, as they spent a good amount of time together. She will miss him immensely. She was his best friend.
John is survived by his father John Gallo, his mother Tina Gallo; his fiancé Mackenzie Newell; his sister Shelby and brother Garrett, whom he had a close bond with; his stepmother Stephanie Channing, who loved John like her own; his grandparents Johnny and Brenda Gallo; his Uncle Ryan, his Aunt Libbi, his Aunt Hazel, and cousins Ethan, Issac, and Abria.
John is always in our hearts, and we will remember his warmth, gentleness, and resilience.
Friends will be received from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home-Camdenton. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with a burial at the Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.

John was my student at Lake Career and Technical Center. I remember him as an intelligent and thoughtful young man. He could be ornery at times but what teenage boy isn't. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing. He had so much of his life ahead of him. He will be greatly missed.
