It is with heavy Hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, John G Garcia, better known to all as "Johnny G" or Brother John. Johnny was born on 07/23/1956 in Denver, Co and passed away on 07/21/2025, just two days before his 69th birthday. He is preceded in death by his mother Helen Kavanaugh, and brothers Ernie (Zeke) Garcia, and Joe Espinoza.

Johnny is survived by his father, Ernest Garcia, son Leroy and daughters Dione and Javon. Along with his sister Rose Delgado (Garcia), brother Ken Kavanaugh, nephew Pete Kavanaugh, grandchildren Maile Garcia, Xavier Bonny, Serenitee Manzanares; as well as many more lifelong friends and relations.

We also regret to announce that Johnny's youngest daughter, Javon H. Garcia, beloved mother, sister, niece and friend, passed away 4 days later, July 25, 2025, at the age of 32. We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of both Father and Daughter, but we will continue to Honor their memories with heartfelt love and admiration. A Celebration of Life gathering is scheduled for September 12th at Anderson Park to honor their legacy. Details to follow.

Johnny will be remembered for his quick-witted sense of humor, passion for outdoor sports and some of his favorite Colorado teams like the Denver Broncos and Nuggets! He had a great love of camping and fishing-most recently Deep-Sea Fishing trips off the Mexican Coast, and especially throughout the Colorado Rocky Mountains with all his "Brothers".

Johnny also had a great love for music of many different genres, including Classic Rock, 70's Soul and R&B, Jazz/Rock Fusion and more. He was talented with electronics, and enjoyed arts and crafts, creating models, miniatures, dioramas, and display cases representing so many of the things he loved.

Johnny moved to North Las Vegas several years ago for a more relaxed lifestyle in a senior community. Known for his kindness and bright smile, he made a lasting impact on everyone he met. We can picture you now brother, relaxing under a cool shady palm tree, kicking it with an ice cold "brewski" in your hand. Reflecting with perseverance over life lessons; reminiscing over all the great moments you shared with so many Friends… and with that ever-present laughter in your eyes, letting us know that everything is "All Good" now because…

"THE EAGLE HAS LANDED"

You will be deeply missed!

Until we meet again, Johnny G…
