John Heinrich George I, age 67, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed peacefully at home, on Sunday, June 30, 2024. John was born on Saturday, September 22, 1956, in Artesia, CA to the late Jamie Dell George and Ursula Sophie (Boettjer) George. 

John’s survivors include his wife of 40 years, Paula Sue (Beaulieu) George; his six children: Paul Raymond Parks and his wife Michelle of Rathdrum, ID, Krys George of Brooklyn, NY, David “Dave” Austin Parks of Otis Orchards, WA, Samantha “Sam” Valorie (George) Kirby and her husband Jason of Foothill Ranch, CA, John Heinrich George II of Mechanicsburg, PA, Jaclyn “Jackie” Nicole (George) Cook and her husband Paul of Mechanicsburg, PA; his nine grandchildren; his four sisters; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine companions: Frankie and Max.

Prior to his strokes, John lived a very active and full life.  His passions were motorcycles, surfing, masonry, and above all else, his family.  He shined light on all those around him, with his endless jokes and always entertaining stories.  Before his retirement, 11 years ago, he worked as a store manager at Giant Foods Stores.  John will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

John’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.
