John Giannetti, 79, of Falls, passed away May 31 peacefully at Geisinger Community Medical Center due to injuries as a result of an automobile accident. John was born on Jan. 13, 1945, in Taylor, Pa. and he lived on the family farm most of his life.
He was the son of the late John and Anna Matlock Giannetti.
John worked at Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany for 30 years and was well liked by everyone. He was a veteran serving his country with the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Giannetti.
John is survived by his sister, Theresa Barker, of Tunkhannock; brothers, Thomas Giannetti, of Tunkhannock; Anthony, Donald and Ronald Giannetti, all of Falls; niece, Donna Todd and her husband, David, of Naperville, Illinois; nephew, Daniel and his wife, Julie, of Lower Burrell, Pa.
Services will be private at the Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.

I drove by his house almost every day and he always smiled and waved to me! Must have been a great guy!
