John Allen Gibby was born on April 12, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Donald Patrick Deville and Charlene Lavern Deville. He graduated from Don Lugo High in California. John lived in several places in California including Los Angeles, Pomona, Chino and San Bernardino. He married Kelly Mahoney in Los Angeles in 1980. He later lived in Benton, Arkansas. When he moved to Oklahoma, he lived in Stillwater and Cushing before landing in Eufaula. John worked as a fence installer. He married Karin Loretta Cline on May 13, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include: his wife, Karin, of the home; daughter, Shannon Marie Gibby; and sister, Donna Sue (Gibby) Frisbee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Patrick Deville and Charlene Lavern (Collins) Deville Gibby.
