John was special.
John was beloved by his students. Not because he was fun to be around...... even thou he was. Not because he provided a meaningful opportunity to be s in a performance/play.........even thou he could/did. It was because he provided some magical gift of getting students over being afraid to express themselves in front of any kind of an audience.
John's laugh was infectious and it made me smile every time I heard it....and that was often. Other will share his many accomplishments in front of an audience both in school in C.B. and in Omaha by acting, directing and entertaining. John was special.

He was one of my favorite teachers, all the drama classes, and doing the performances were just awesome. He was a great teacher and a person who would do anything for you if he could. He also thought, my aunt and my uncle. The other younger age I was exposed to the world of drama in theater. It was great. He was such a good person. He will be messed. Thoughts and prayers. Go to his wife and family.

Mr Gibson was my drama teacher at Thomas Jefferson high School I dropped out of high school in the 11th grade but his class was the only one I lettered in. Because he nominated me for it he was carrying he was loving he was funny and he was well loved by all of us. He's the one person over the years I've always thought of. He took a special interest in every single one of us that came through his classroom and he didn't let me get away with crap. He did more for me than he'll ever know he would be greatly missed by him very large amount of people cuz he changed a lot of her lifes. He also helped mold and shape a lot of us in to the people we are today. Mr Gibson you haven't always will be somebody who I'll never forget. Thank you for taking the time with me and so many others.
