John Joseph Giordano Sr., 69, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Queens, New York, John was the beloved son of the late Frank and Vincenza Giordano. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexys Giordano; his godmother, Gloria Murphy; and his godfather, Anthony Juliano.
John built a life grounded in hard work, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to his family. He dedicated 25 years of his career to Coca-Cola, where he was known not only for his strong work ethic but for being a true leader and mentor. John took pride in guiding others, always leading with fairness, patience, and a quiet wisdom that left a lasting impact on those around him. He was looking forward to retiring this December, excited for the next chapter surrounded by the people he loved most.
A lifelong Coca-Cola enthusiast, John found joy in collecting Coke memorabilia. From vintage bottles to rare collectibles, each piece reminded him of the work he cherished and the company he proudly represented. One of his greatest joys was his Coca-Cola village, a charming display he loved setting up and sharing with his family during the holidays.
John also loved cruising-despite the fact that he couldn't swim. He enjoyed every moment at sea, soaking in the sun, the food, the laughter, and the memories made with those he loved.
He had a passion for collecting coins, especially quarters. To honor him, whenever you see a quarter, think of John and the simple joys that meant so much to him.
John was also known for his unforgettable habit of saving boxes-every box, from every purchase, no matter how big or small. "Save the box" became a running family joke, and a sweet reminder of his practicality, his humor, and the little quirks that made him who he was.
Family was the center of John's world. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Giordano, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage, a lifetime of memories, and a bond built on loyalty, love, and resilience. He is also survived by his daughter Janet Giordano and son-in-law Steven Walker; his son John Giordano Jr. and daughter-in-law Melissa Giordano; and his cherished grandchildren Anthony Vatter, Brandon Giordano, Arianna Giordano, Brianna Walker, and Alexander Walker.
He is also survived by his sister Joann Matos and her husband Bob; nieces Tina Festa and Angela Pernesiglio; nephew Bob Matos; as well as his brother Frank Giordano, his wife Carol, and nephew Marc Giordano. John's family was large, loud, loving-just the way he liked it-and he held each member close to his heart.
John will be remembered for his strength, humor, dedication, and the quiet but profound way he cared for others. His legacy lives on in the family he adored and in the many lives he touched.
