John Charles Gromek

Gromek, John C. Age 64 of Brooklyn Park passed away on September 19, 2025 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by father Chester and brother Craig. Mother in law Maralyn Jones. Survived by wife, Marcelle, children Brandon (Janet), Maggie Nelson (Jamie), Jackson (Amanda), grandchildren, mother Margaret, sister Stacy (Matt) Neary, sister in law Ruth Gromek, Father in law, Duane Jones, brother in law Mark (Janice ) Jones, sister in law Marlene (Mark) Beck & all his nieces, nephews and many friends. John cherished his family above all and was always there for them. He enjoyed time spent at the family cabin, where many of his happiest memories were made. John valued the moments he shared with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Visitation is planned for Sunday, Sept. 28th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Washburn-McReavy Hillside 2600 19th Ave NE. Celebration of Life will be on Monday, Sept. 29th at Nativity Lutheran Church, 3312 Silver Lake Rd, St. Anthony, MN at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
