Mr. G. was a champion for students. As a member of the first consolidated class at Tri Valley, I remember his encouragement and humor. Though I didn´t know him for long in high school, his memory will not soon be forgotten. I will carry his love of learning with me as a professor and be an advocate for education. His kindness will live on as each of us pays it forward.
Rest in peace, Mr. G., and may the perpetual light shine upon you.

John brought his 2 daughters, Therese and Annie to spend a few days with my adopted daughter Katie from Poland many years ago. My daughter cried when they left. Yes, he fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Thank you
