John S. Hamilton

John "Jack" Southall Hamilton, 77, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on December 12, 2023. He was a man of many contradictions, known for his creative painted seascapes, love of Sinatra music, and self-assured disposition. Retired from Miller Brewing Company over 20 years ago, John will be remembered by all who met him. He is survived by his wife Cheri (Griffen) Hamilton, children Megan and Michael Hamilton, sister Dede (Hamilton) Barenholtz, brother-in-law Daryl Barenholtz, sister-in-law Janet Hamilton, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Southall Hamilton, mother Nanette (Busalacchi) Hamilton, and brother William Hamilton. The family wishes to extend special thanks to AccentCare Hospice and long time friend Albert Botros for their care and attention in John's final years.
Services will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to these
organizations in memory of John: American Diabetes Foundation, the American Kidney Fund, or the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
