John is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Starling of Live Oak; his daughter, Gracie Starling of Live Oak; his sons, Issac Starling and Robert "Trapper" Hardin, both of Live Oak; his sister, Steffanie Hardin of West Salem, OH; and his nieces, Sierrah Knight and Savana Knight. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Earnest Hardin.
