He graduated from Salem High School in 2003. On May 4, 2006, he married Jessica (Middleton) Hattabaugh. He was a very outdoorsy guy, he enjoyed caving at Cave River Valley, playing guitar, and putting car models together. He invested a lot of time in his family, he was a great husband, stepfather, and grandfather.
Survivors include Wife: Jessica (Middleton) Hattabaugh, Stepdaughter: Cheyeana Earl of Columbus, Indiana; Stepdaughter: Jasmine White of Campbellsburg, Indiana; Sister: Laura Kinzie of Salem, Indiana; Sister: Alisha Pollard of Corydon, Indiana; Mother: Terri Hattabaugh; Like a brother: Ron Smith of Campbellsburg, Indiana; Grandmother: Eva Jo Kinzie; Uncle: Hugh (Kay) Hattabaugh of Florida.
