John Paul "Johnny" Haus, age 85 of Hahntown, North Huntingdon died May 9, 2025, at his home.
Born on May 6, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John L. Haus and Margaret Hartman Haus.
He was employed as a truck driver by Consolidated Freight Way. After he retired, Johnny did house painting and electrical work. He enjoyed hunting and he could drive a 16d nail into a tree with his.22 rifle. He also enjoyed NASCAR and gardening. He was a member of the Italian Miners Society Club, the Wendell club, and he loved his friends from Hahntown.
Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Tracey Ray and her husband, Rodney, Laurie Plummer, Tommy Haus and his wife LaDonne; his grandchildren, Jacob and his fiancé, Katie, Tommy and his wife, Sara, Allison and her husband, Rob, Steven and his wife, Rachel, Ethan and his wife, Alyssa, and Emily and her husband, Grant; his great grandchildren, Austin, Caleb, Finnley, Eleanor, Victoria, and Zeke (with three more on the way); his twin sister, Margaret "Sissy" Wachter, and sisters, Janis Gallagher and Linda Rupert and her husband, Ken; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Haus, his sister, Sue Ann "Susie" Truitt; and his two brothers-in-law, George Wachter and Irvin Gallagher.
A Blessing Service followed by a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
