John Healy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kaatz Funeral Directors – Hamilton-Groesbeck Chapel - Mt. Clemens on Jan. 7, 2025.
Age 58, a friend to all and whose life touched so many. John passed away surrounded by the love of his family on January 5, 2025.
John was born on January 10, 1966 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Robert and Margaret (Osterman) Healy.
John was a completer at Robert Lutz School in 1992. He spent 15 years working at Sears Lakeside. For 10 years, he also worked at the Mt. Clemens Elks Lodge, where he was known for his warm demeanor and outgoing personality and he also volunteered at the local food bank and USPS food drive.
John was a guy who remembered everyone's name, and in his free time, John enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: knocking down pins at the bowling alley, cheering on his favorite WWE wrestlers, sharing laughs over 1980s sitcoms, and casting a line while fishing. He cherished moments spent with friends and family, always quick with a smile.
John's memory will be forever treasured by those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering humor.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving siblings, Diane (William) Thomas, Joanne Miller, Robert J. (Lesley) Healy, Mary (James) Sparks, Suzanne Jackson as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and 24 first cousins.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret (Osterman) Healy; brother Stephen J. Healy; brothers-in-law James Jackson and Brian Miller.
The family honors the memory of John and invites you to visit and share memories Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens. Rite of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025, instate at 10:30am until time of the Mass at 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Fr. Doug Bignall will officiate.
