John Hixson Obituary
John David Hixson, age 40, passed away suddenly on March 2, 2026.
David went to school in Soddy Daisy, TN. He worked many years at landscaping. He worked at Hiwassee Building Supply in Athens, TN building trusses at the time of his passing. He was living at Grace Rehab since 2024 and was doing very well. He turned his life over to the Lord and was attending Bible study groups and Sunday services. David had finally found peace after struggling with addiction for many years.
Preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Hubert "Goob" Hixson of Soddy Daisy, TN.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Hixson (15); father, Bobby (Lisa) Hixson of Athens, TN; mother, Shari Fletcher (Steve) Hooks of Soddy Daisy, TN; grandmothers, Helen Hison previously of Soddy Daisy, TN and Becky Smith (Forrest Pendergraph) of Soddy Daisy, TN; stepbrothers, Daniel Hooks of Soddy Daisy, TN and Kim Troy Bradford (Cierra) of Cleveland, TN and Tanner Bradford (Olvia) of Tulsa, OK.
No services will be held at this time.
