John Harold Hobson, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 15, 2025.

He was born on April 18, 1958 in Marlette, MI to Harold and Maxine (Pollard) Hobson. John was the youngest of the siblings with 3 older sisters. He attended Eastern Michigan University, and while attending Eastern he worked for Rosche. Eventually John worked at the GM Proving Grounds before moving back to Sandusky. He shared in the daily work and activities of the family floral business, Sanilac Florist. John loved his family who always enjoyed his quick wit. His sense of humor will be greatly missed. He was kind and generous to friends, family and his beloved pets. John always enjoyed the extended family gatherings for holidays and birthdays. He always had an interest in politics and loved debating his point. John enjoyed music and had an encyclopedic knowledge of music and musicians. He enjoyed his newest interest and participating in the new Sandusky pool league.

John is survived by his sisters, Sara Hobson and Kathy See; nephew, Jon (Bridgette) See; great nephew, Oliver See; and many beloved cousins and their families.

He had tremendous faith and is now with his family who preceded him in death, his parents, Harold and Maxine Hobson; sister, Mary Jane Berry and brother in law, Harry Berry.
