John Hooks Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Hooks; children, Rene Williford and family of Sour Lake, April and family of Sour Lake, Jeri LeAnn Hooks and family and Holly Rene Tristan and family, all of Splendora, Ashley Nicole Warren and family of Cold Spring, and Charles Allen Warren and family of Willis; twenty-two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Vicki Diane Hooks; uncle, Elmer Eddings; and special family friends, Roxie Wacasey, Pamela Gandy, Diane and Joe Anderson, Mandy and David Wacasey, Martin McCleary, and Donald and Stephanie McCleary; and numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
A gathering of Mr. Hooks' family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Robert Hall, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Happy Valley Church, 3435 Highway 418 West, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
