John Horton, 64, formerly of Crosslake, passed away under hospice care with his daughter by his side on April 24, 2024. Services will be held on May 10, 2024, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter from 11am – 1pm.
John was born on June 15, 1959, to Edward and Frances (Halverson) Horton in St. Paul, Minnesota. John was extremely artistic. He was a very gifted painter with several beautiful paintings that were enjoyed by many. He loved animals and the outdoors. Above all else, he enjoyed being with his family as they were very important to him. He had a great sense of humor and he was loved by many. He will be missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his children, Kassandra, and Robert (Samantha); grandchildren, Hailey, Mila, Robert; and his brother Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
