John Fitzgerald Ingram, born on October 1, 1964, passed away on December 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. John lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and devotion to those he cherished most.

John had a true passion for cooking and found great joy in bringing people together through food. He loved spending time with his family and had a special gift for making others laugh. Known for his smooth moves, John could dance exceptionally well and never missed an opportunity to bring energy and joy to a room. Above all, he deeply loved his children, grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his loving mother, Fredonia Ingram; his children, Brookelin Scott, Anthony Scott (Kayla Money), and Douglas Haworth; his siblings, Martha Millett, Saffevell Ingram Jr. (Joan), Donna Alexander (Brian), James Ingram Sr., Lisa Ingram, and Barbara Bennett (Paul); eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews whom he adored and his lifelong friend, Calvin Kavanaugh.

John was preceded in death by his father, Saffevell Ingram Sr., and his brother, Mark Anthony.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.

John Fitzgerald Ingram will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
