John M. Jennett

MOHAWK – John M. Jennett, age 57, of Marshall Ave., Mohawk, NY, passed away, on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY.
He was born on April 23, 1965, in Ilion, the son of Albert Jennett and Nancy (Oullette) Jennett and graduated from Mohawk Central School, in 1983. John attended Nuclear Power School and Stratford Career Institute. At one time, he was married to Sherri Sager. In his early years, he worked at Burrell Saw and Tool Co., Mohawk. John was later employed as a Greens Keeper and Mechanic, at the Mohawk Valley Country Club, Little Falls, for 15 years.
Surviving family members include his mother, Nancy Cornell, of Ilion; his companion, Sherri Jennett, of Mohawk; his children, Jamie Jennett, Joshua Jennett and Nathan Steacy; his stepchildren, Shelby Butler, Peter Martin, David Crim, Orlando Crim and Alan Crim; several grandchildren; his sisters, Denise Jennett and Missy and Susan Jennett; his brothers, Richard Burton, Charles Jennett, Joe Jennett and Albert Jennett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Toysha; his father, Albert; and his stepfather, Robert Cornell.
