John Clarence Jennings graced our presence September 13, 1950! John was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois! Although John came from a rough upbringing, he worked hard and made the best out of what he had! John enrolled in the Navy in an effort to make a better life for himself and he did! After serving his country, John moved to Dallas,TX where he met Connie and built the family he'd always wanted! They shared 30yrs together until her passing in 2022! John never expected to fall in love again and neither did his friend Kelly but the bond they developed was undeniable! John and Kelly became inseparable and created a joyous life together! John's health began to decline and he was forced to retire after 30yrs of committed service to the City of Dallas! John refused to let anything stop him though and lived out loud the rest of his days with Kelly and Dino by his side! An avid fan of the Oakland Raiders, John's passion for the game was matched only by his love for Smooth Jazz! John found joy in traveling, seeking adventure in new places and experiences, always eager to create new stories to tell.
John's life was marked by genuine warmth, an infectious smile, and an unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the love he cultivated and the lessons he imparted! John will be remembered as a man of strength and character, with a spirit that resonated deeply with those who crossed his path. John passed away peacefully in his home with Kelly and Dino still by his side March 28, 2026! John is preceded in death by his Mother Lonia, Father Uranus and Stepfather John!
